He has interned and volunteered with conservation groups around the world, and his writing has also appeared in Alaska MagazineTasmanian Geographic, The Bark and other publications, and is a staff writer for Earth.com. Zach just finished his first book, Tears for Crocodilia: Ecology, Evolution and the Disappearance of one of the World’s Most Ancient Animals, and lives with his wife, Erin, and two dogs in Colorado.
