A life-long New Englander, Cheryl has worked with non-profit conservation organizations and state, federal, and tribal agencies to communicate science and natural resource management issues to diverse audiences for over 20 years. She enjoys exploring the intersections of science, art, and culture while inspiring environmental action through her writing, editing, and photography. As the editor of Northern Woodlands magazine, she worked to raise awareness of the ecology, culture, and sustainable stewardship of the forests of the Northeast. A lover of rivers and all things wild, she enjoys paddling, photography, hiking, poetry, exploring new places with family and friends, and currently serves as program manager for the Sebasticook Regional Land Trust.
