Austin Landis

Austin Landis is a video and digital journalist covering migration, the environment and other critical stories from Colombia. She previously reported on the White House and national politics for Spectrum News in Washington, D.C., with a close eye on U.S. immigration policy and its human impact. For Spectrum, she founded the company’s first-ever membership in the White House press pool and briefing room. Austin previously lived in Barranquilla, Colombia and moved back in 2023 to report stories that connect the dots between people and policy.
