Utku Kuran

Utku Kuran is a researcher and environmental journalist working at the intersection of social-ecological systems, biodiversity conservation, and sustainability science. His work focuses on the relationships between ecological change, resource governance, and local knowledge, with particular attention to how community-based practices shape conservation and livelihood outcomes. He has contributed to research collaborations and writing projects on environmental issues, including topics such as wildfires, marine conservation and global waste trade.
