Stephin Thomas

Stephin Thomas is an independent journalist based in India. She grew up in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and went on to study journalism at Sophia College for Women in Mumbai. After graduating in 2023, she has worked across multiple newsrooms and built a body of work that sits at the intersections of climate, gender, migration and civic life. Her bylines have appeared in publications like IndiaSpend, The Migration Story and Mongabay, where she uses both written features and multimedia formats to bring these stories to wider audiences.
