I am an award-winning science journalist with over 28 years of experience locally and internationally.
I was the Winner of the 2008 Reuters/IUCN Media Awards in Excellence in Environmental Reporting for the English-speaking Africa and the Middle East region. I was the founding chairperson of the Kenya Environment and Science Journalists Association (KENSJA). Also, I served two terms as a member of the Executive Board of the World Federation of Science Journalists.
I have delivered great results on dozens of projects, managing media networks and leading multi-country, multi-stakeholder teams.

I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Communication and Media Studies, Development Communication from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and Journalism from Kenya's Moi University.
