Juan Maza

Juan is a Multimedia Journalist with work experience in over 30 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. He has lived in London, Berlin, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Bangladesh, and Togo. Currently, he is based in Seville, Spain. Along his professional career, Juan has produced diverse multimedia formats, including reports, documentaries, and social media content for a wide range of organizations such as Deutsche Welle, AFP, El País, or France 5. In these projects, he has functioned in a variety of positions, ranging from producer and director of photography to video editor. Additionally, he has worked in the humanitarian sector for organizations such as Doctors Without Borders. On the academic side, he holds a BA in Media Studies from Universidad Complutense and a Master’s in Anthropological Research from UNED University. Juan is fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
