Fernanda Biasoli
Fernanda Biasoli is a Brazilian journalist with a degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), whose work is focused on environmental journalism, covering stories related to climate, territory and human rights. She was part of the Long-Term Ecological Research Program - Biodiversity of Santa Catarina (PELD-BISC), where she researched public communication of science and scientific dissemination. She has published texts in media such as Le Monde Diplomatique Brasil, NeoMondo and MidiaNINJA, and she won the 2nd MOL Journalism Award for Solidarity in the Young Journalist category of the MOL Institute in 2024 with a piece on community philanthropy. She is currently a journalist at the Brazilian Fund for Environmental Education (FunBEA), working alongside Indigenous people, Quilombolas, Caiçaras and other traditional communities in the fight to preserve the environment and tackle the climate crisis.
