I obtained a bachelor degree in Media Arts and Studies from the University of Cambodia. Currently, I am a freelance journalist based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, focusing on human rights, the environment and social issues. I primarily contribute to CamboJA News, one of the few remaining independent media outlets in the country. I have also reported for Mekong Eye, Dialogue Earth, the diplomat magazine and Mongabay. With a strong commitment to social justice, I love to report on the challenges faced by communities in Cambodia, particularly regarding land rights, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation. In my work, I always want to highlight how governmental policies and corporate interests can adversely affect the livelihoods of local populations and bring their problems to the government.
