Emily Senkosky

Emily Senkosky is a writer based in Medellin, Colombia. Her education was at a liberal arts school that allowed her bachelor’s degree to be at the crossroads of environmental studies, communications, and film photography. Thus far in her journalism career she has written on topics across industries—from technology, to business, to lifestyle—but environmental journalism is where her true passion lies. Emily loves exploring new places and utilizes her insatiable curiosity to sniff out stories as she travels throughout Latin America. She hopes that her writing can translate what are sometimes complex topics in an intuitive and relatable way to the public. When she is not out in the world looking for perspective, and trying to capture it through her writing, she enjoys being in the outdoors, reading, and finding the next best glass of red wine.
