Elizabeth Rusch

Elizabeth Rusch is the author of the award-winning narrative nonfiction book The Twenty-One: The true story of the youth who sued the U.S. government over climate change (HarperCollins, 2023) about Juliana v. United States the landmark federal case that lay the legal foundation for La Rose. She is also a journalist with more than a hundred articles published in The New York Times, Smithsonian, Harper's, Backpacker, American Craft, Publishers Weekly, and Portland Monthly, among others.
