I am an award-winning journalist, journalism trainer, editor and media manager at Vision Group the largest media house in Uganda. I cover health/science, agriculture and environment. In 2017, I Won a fellowship with CCMP (Climate Change Media Partnership/Internews’ Earth Journalism Network) to attend and cover UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) in Bonn, Germany. Was selected by the Washington based Global Health Strategies to attend a round-table discussion about the state of public health in Sub-Saharan Africa, with Billionaire philanthropist, Bill Gates, in Durban, South Africa in July 2016. In 2015, I won an HIV Prevention reporting fellowship with the Washington based ICFJ (International Center for Journalists). I am also the UHCA (Uganda Health Communication Alliance) 2013 Tobacco Control Fellow. I have attended and covered international conferences in Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Thailand, South Africa, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Senegal and Kenya.
