Matthew Boyer
A native of Pennsylvania, Matthew is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Eberly College of Business with a degree in Marketing. He also completed much course work at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Fundraising, including certifications in Managing Capital Campaigns and Executive Speaking. Matthew also attended Eckard College’s Leadership Development Institute.
He has held leadership roles for over 25 years in internationally recognized environmental and social justice organizations such as the World Wildlife Fund, National Park Foundation, National Parks Conservation Association, American Forests, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Human Rights Campaign, PFLAG National and The ARC of the United States.
With the exception of living 5 years Los Angeles, Matthew has lived most of his adult life in Virginia. He has volunteered for many organizations and served on the Board of Directors for NARAL Virginia and the Shenandoah National Park Trust.
Matthew has traveled the world but has a fondness for our national parks, having traveled to well over 100 of them. He is an avid outdoors enthusiast and is an accomplished equestrian but also appreciates camping, hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing. He lives in Virginia's wine country, with his partner, on their farm called Charming Hill where they raise horses and goats.
