Mantoe Phakathi is a journalist with experience spanning over 16 years based in Eswatini (Swaziland). She is interested in reporting about the environment and climate change, particularly from the African perspective. She is also a development communication specialist with interest in packaging scientific information such that it makes sense to mass audiences. She holds an MSc in Climate Change, Development and Policy from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom, a Post-graduate Diploma in Media Management from Rhodes University in South Africa and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science from the University of South Africa.
