Gonzalo Ortuño López

Gonzalo Ortuño López has more than 10 years of professional experience as a journalist. He has been a reporter, writer, editor and editor-in-chief at Animal Político, where he also promoted the environmental and climate perspective in coverage of politics, health, migration, disability and human rights. His coverage of human mobility and the climate crisis in Tabasco was a finalist for the Lorenzo Natali Journalism Award and was part of the “Clima en Movimiento” microsite of the Center for Justice and International Law CEJIL. He has also been a fellow of the Climate Tracker organization for coverages on fair energy transition.
