Fieni Aprilia is a documentary photographer, graphic designer, and cultural studies researcher based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Their photography encompasses the issues of environment and wildlife, culture, gender, and sense of belonging. Aprilia pursued a master's in cultural studies at SOAS University of London. Their research interests include the decolonisation of photography, social representations in Southeast Asian films, arts, and literature — as well as horror as a mode of storytelling.
