Demelza Stokes

Demelza Stokes splits her time between Bristol and Southeast Asia. She has worked as a freelance journalist and filmmaker in Thailand and Myanmar for over five years, working in various conflict areas and remote locations. Her films and articles have appeared on The Guardian, Al Jazeera and several regional outlets. She also produces in-house films for conservation groups working in the region. She has degrees in Southeast Asian Studies (BA) and International Politics (MSc) from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
