Deirdre Leowinata

With a B.Sc. in Biology, Deirdre started her career with a strong science background that ignited a passion for novel science communication. This led to a post-graduate certificate in Environmental Visual Communication through an innovative joint program through Fleming College and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. Since finishing, her writing, photography, and multimedia work have appeared in the Guardian, National Geographic Cat Watch, Discovery Magazine, and the Tanzanian Citizen. She hopes to save the world and its biodiversity one story at a time.
