Benjamin Jumbe is a Ugandan award winning Journalist living and working in the country’s capital Kampala. He is passionate about issues to do with agriculture, environment and climate change and has been recognized by government through the ministry of Tourism Wildlife and Antiquities for reporting on the environment . He has worked with a number of media houses like Nile Broadcasting Services (NBS) radio, Power FM and Nation Media group where he is todate, working as a news Anchor and senior environment reporter. He has also worked with a media production house with headquarters in Nairobi called Media development For Africa (MEDEVA) as a production assistant. Under this role, he helped the organization produce a TV series program called AGENDA UGANDA which was aired on NTVU, the leading local TV station in the country. He holds a bachelor of science in Mass Communication degree attained from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) and a diploma in journalism from the International Institute of Business and Media Studies in Kampala. He has also undertaken short training courses in Investigative journalism from Makerere University, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and Fray Media , and African Centre for Media Excellence.
