This is Lagoa Misteriosa, a collapsed limestone cave near Bonito, Brazil. The visibility here can exceed 40 meters.
I was in Bonito for the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation’s annual conference where I organized a symposium on “Changing Drivers of Deforestation.”
