Rainforest information for kids in Finnish

With the help of Juha Honkala, Mongabay.com’s rainforest information site for children is now available in Finnish: world.mongabay.com/finnish/.



The rainforest information site for children — which describes rainforests, their importance, and the threats they face — has now been translated into 35 languages. All the translation has been done by native speakers.



Mongabay’s sister site, WildMadagascar.org, also has a kids version about the country of Madagascar. It is available in 17 languages.



Mongabay.com provides news and information on tropical forests. The site seeks to raise interest in and appreciation of wild lands and wildlife, while examining the impact of emerging trends in climate, technology, economics, and finance on conservation and development.
