I have been a broadcast and text journalist for more than nine years. I have worked for some of the top news outlets including Somoy Tv, which is Bangladesh's largest private TV station. My focus areas are environment, human rights and climate change. My work has been recognised abroad. I have received several national and international awards for my work as a broadcast and English language reporter. I have also received several fellowships and scholarships including from GIJN, RNTC, APWLD and Vital Strategeis. In addition I also received fellowships from Water Aid, USAID, Internews and MRDI.
