The new Creation Museum in Kentucky includes a display featuring dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark, reports Reuters. The $27 million museum, which says it depicts the Bible’s first book, Genesis, as literal truth, opens Monday near Cincinnati.

The museum is controversial and it expected to draw protests when it opens. Critics say schoolchildren will be confused by differences in what is presented at the museum and their school curriculum.

Reuters reports that exhibits at the museum show that the Grand Canyon formed in just days during Noah’s flood and that dinosaurs lived at the same time humans and had a place on Noah’s Ark.

Nearly half of Americans believe that humans were created by God in their present form within the last 10,000 years according to a Gallup poll last year. Three of the ten Republican presidential candidates in a recent debate said they did not believe in evolution.
