A 4-legged duckling has turned up in Britain according to a report from the Associated Press. Pictures of the animal were released Saturday.

The bird hatched last week at Nicky Janaway’s duck farm in Forest, Hampshire, 95 miles southwest of London. The animals was revealed to reporters Saturday.

“It was absolutely bizarre. I was thinking ‘he’s got too many legs’ and I kept counting ‘one, two, three, four,'” The Associated Press quoted Janaway as saying.

The Associated Press says the mutation is extremely rare and 4-legged animals rarely live long.

The quadpedal chick has been named “Stumpy” by Janaway.
