Zoologists to discuss latest in animal enrichment techniques
July 21, 2005
The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is hosting the 2005 International Conference on Environmental Enrichment from July 31 through Aug. 5th at Columbia University’s Alfred Lerner Hall. Zoologists and conservationists from 15 countries will gather to learn about the latest in animal enrichment techniques to keep animals healthy and stimulated in zoos throughout the world.
WCS saves wildlife and wild lands through careful science, international conservation, education, and the management of the world’s largest system of urban wildlife parks. These activities change attitudes toward nature and help people imagine wildlife and humans living in sustainable interaction on both a local and a global scale.
