Hyacinth macaws (Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus) are the world's largest macaw. They are found in Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay and prefer swamps and wooded savannah over rainforest habitats.

The Hyacinth macaw is listed as Endangered by the IUCN Red List. The large parrot took a huge hit by the illegal pet trade for a number of decades and remains threatened by habitat loss, cattle ranching, and dam construction.
